Breakwater Treatment & Wellness (Breakwater) is a medical-only operator that grows, produces and dispenses top-quality cannabis products in New Jersey and is one of the original six medical Alternative Treatment Centers (ATC) approved in the state. Breakwater first opened its doors to New Jersey’s medicinal cannabis community back in October 2015 at its Cranbury dispensary. Products Developed for Patients
At Breakwater, satisfying patients’ needs is imperative. Their team listens to each patient to effectively cater their services to their individual needs while also working to develop new products to benefit patients. Last year, Breakwater released a variety of new product lines, such as solventless extracts, gummies and its first-ever premium rolled joints. Unlike most pre-rolls on the market, Breakwater’s joints are made with only their hand-trimmed premium flower, which is rolled similarly to a handmade joint rather than stuffed, like many cone pre-rolls. This innovative approach allows for precise joint compression, ensuring an even burn and airflow, elevating the patient’s experience.
In response to patients looking for products with a higher CBD dosage, Breakwater just released a 25:1 CBD to THC ratio MCT oil, with 2,500mg of CBD per bottle. This one-of-a-kind MCT oil contains a higher CBD dosage than many other products on the market while still allowing patients to enjoy the synergistic effects of the THC and has received great feedback from patients.
Expanding Medical Access
Only a few months ago, Breakwater completed its very first wholesale transaction, and they look forward to venturing into more wholesaling opportunities in the future. Moving forward, Breakwater is focused on working with incoming micro-licensees and social equity licensees to expand patient access to their products and ultimately provide medicine to patients who may not have tried it yet.

In September of 2022, Breakwater proudly opened its first satellite dispensary in Roselle Park – its second dispensary in the state.
